This page explains how to delete your LiveBill account and details what happens to your personal data when you do. LiveBill is developed by InnoVision Labs.
If you currently have LiveBill installed:
Processing time: deletion takes effect immediately, with no waiting period, provided you don't currently have a bill open or in checkout (see below).
If you no longer have the app installed, email creativesath@innovision-labs.com and ask us to delete your account.
If you have a bill session actively open or in checkout — either as a seller running a live session or a customer tracking one — account deletion is temporarily blocked. You must finish, close, or leave the active sale first, which protects the other party from a sale being cut short mid-transaction. Once no session is in progress, deletion proceeds immediately as described above.
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
Everything above is stored in a single user record, which is removed in full — not field by field — so nothing from that list is left behind.
Your saved payment QR code is stored only on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers, so it is not part of this deletion. The same goes for the other things LiveBill keeps only on your phone — the role you last used, the country you chose for your currency on a phone that couldn't report its own, your display preferences, when a full-screen ad was last shown, whether you've seen the tip on closing a stuck ad, and cached copies of your recent invoices, today's totals and your age confirmation. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, removes all of them, along with the local copy of the device identifier.
An invoice still in the other party's history is not deleted when you delete your account. It stays in their history, so the other party — the seller or the customer — keeps an accurate, unaltered record of a sale that genuinely happened, which neither side should be able to erase unilaterally after the fact. This is also described in our Privacy Policy.
Please note what a retained invoice still contains, since your account record being gone does not empty the invoices themselves:
How long retained invoices are kept: while the invoice is in the other party's history. Each party keeps a completed invoice while it is among their 10 most recent; it leaves their history when newer sales push it out, when they delete it from their history, or when they delete their account. Once it is in neither history it is deleted — carried out by the app on the other party's phone the next time it updates their history. A bill's live record — whether or not it became a completed sale — is deleted automatically: a cancelled bill typically within a day of being cancelled, and any other typically within two days of being opened or reaching checkout (or sooner, if a new bill reuses its PIN and overwrites it). A sale completed with an earlier version of the app keeps its live record until its PIN is reused; if you want one of those removed sooner, email us using Option 2 above.
Apart from the invoice contents described above, we retain none of your personal profile or authentication data. There is no additional retention period for anything listed under "What personal data is deleted" — it is removed as part of the deletion itself — immediately for an in-app deletion, or once we process an emailed request (we aim to do so within 7 days).
Questions, or something you'd like handled differently? Please get in touch at creativesath@innovision-labs.com — we'd much rather hear from you directly than have you left unsure. Whether you want to know exactly what we still hold, need the shop details on a specific past invoice addressed, or aren't certain your deletion went through, write to us and we'll look into it. Requests about a retained invoice are reviewed case by case, balanced against the other party's right to keep an accurate record of a transaction that genuinely took place.
